Mardi Gras Photos!

I've had the privilege of taking Mardi Gras Photos of most of the parades in Mobile this year! It's been a lot of fun but some seriously hard work! Trying to get the exact right exposure to include the people and the atmosphere of the "boom boom"'s (as we call them) is quite a challenging task along with how each float is lit. It is a constant battle between back lighting, no lighting on the maskers face~ ISO (trying to keep the least amount of noise as possible with it being so dark outside), the shutter speed with the moving float, Focusing on the moving target with a 2.8 lens (very limited area to keep the focal point) all while trying to catch the moment.... it's exhausting lol... to say the least. haha But I feel like they have turned out well so far! Some better than others ~ a definite learning experience for thinking on your toes. It's been fun! Many more parades to go...

Joshua Radin Concert

I got to take some photographs at the concert last night. It was a lot of fun! He was great! For sneaking in my old camera and a terrible lens I think some of these turned out pretty ok. It was nice to just take photos for fun again! After all the basketball I've been taking! 

Working on Packages and Open for Business

SNOWY NIGHT

It snowed a lot here in Atlanta tonight and I was so excited I braved the cold to get a few pictures. I wanted to share them and I can't wait to take some tomorrow morning! I got lucky all the Christmas lights are still up around my apartment complex so they added beautifully to the snow! It was such a peaceful scene!
